A need for transparency: the choice of quality

At Arlette & Maria, we believe that trust is built on transparency. That's why we've chosen to reveal to you, in all honesty, what goes on behind the scenes of our production.

The Arlette & Maria “creation” collections are imagined and designed in Toulouse by our team.

Every logo, every finish, every detail is thought out here, in the heart of our creative workshop.

The "designer" pieces are then crafted in Portugal using organic cotton or recycled fabrics,GOTS andOeko-Tex certified, guaranteeing respect for the environment and lasting comfort. We work with a textile partner who shares our values: eco-responsible materials and social commitment. Their European factories adhere to fair working conditions and are SEDEX certified. BSCI and WRAP ensure the quality and ethical production of each piece. For embroidery and screen printing, our partners are based in Toulouse: we collect orders on foot, and everything is handled with care by Matilda, ensuring a personal, inclusive, and welcoming experience.

Concept store collections

  • The Arlette & Maria concept store collections are curated selections of brands . We choose 90% European brands that share our vision of transparency, quality, sustainable materials, and ethical manufacturing. Within this selection, 90% of the pieces are made in Italy , and 10% come from Chinese manufacturers identified for their expertise, machinery, and resources . Each item is selected for its durability, unique style, and authenticity, ensuring that every piece you purchase has meaning and a reduced environmental impact.

For each piece presented on the Arlette & Maria website, you will find an insert detailing its specifics : the type of collection (creation or concept store), the place of manufacture, the materials used, and care instructions.

We want every garment you wear to carry its story, its truth, without artifice or secrets. For us, transparency is a way to restore the true value of clothing, to honor those who make it, and to offer you the opportunity to consume consciously and, above all, with joy.

At the heart of our mission is the pre-order system . It's a demanding, but fair, model.

The pieces in our "designer" collections are made only after you place your order. Those in our "concept store" collections are ordered only when you make a purchase. The result: no unnecessary stock, no waste.
